I want to tell you something about my studies and life in Amsterdam.
The studies here is really different from China. I choosed two courses in the first trimester (from Sept. 11 to Dec. 22). Classes are at Monday and tuesday(10:00 to 13:00). You should take part in the discussion actively or you will not pass the class. Every week I have a lot of photocopies of texts to read. I have to write several assignment. Anyway, I feel free every day since I only have to take class 2 days per week. I can control most of the time.
The life of everyday is not so regular. When I feel tired I go to sleep, When I fell hungry, I eat somethting. There is no difference between day and night. If I have not class that day, I usually go to sleep at 03:00am and get up at 11:00. Usually I have lunch at about 14:00or 15:00. I cook chinese food every night at about 20:00 .the day usually be dark at 20:30.
The milk here is very cheap. Two liters milk costs NLG 1.8( NLG 1=3.3Yaun Renmingbi)
And the mobile phone here is also very cheap. Most of the phones are free of charge. But you should pay rent every month about NLG 20 . I also bought a mobile phone(a pre-pay card phone), It cost me NLG 129, But the Telecom company repayed me NLG 90.
So It only cost me NLG 39. Also, there is no cost for listening a call.
Most of my time are in the Library(not read but access internet) or Computer centre. Almost every building of the university has many computers which can access internet, As a student of the university, I can use freely.
