As we all know that china is pending accession to the wto and english is a world wide language.our country is paying more and more attention to the english education.obviosly , we can see the siganificance of learning english.but in our country ,there are some shortcoming s in english education. firstly,english is a language.the geart difference between human beings and animals is that man can use language to negotiate.the key of learning english is to learn how to talk with others.but now,in many schools,particulary in some junior schools,what they care is their scores,their marks.they didn't care whether
they can really master it.we can find many ,many examples that one can get high marks but
they can't speak it at all.we call it a dumb english.maybe you will feel it's funny,but
its very common in our real life.now it's the time we should think the reason why it will
cause dumb english.in our class,some teachers just speak from the beginning to the end,
and we havein our class,some teachers just speak from the beginning to the end, and we
have so little choice to practice.in class,we don't practice our spoken english,how can
we practice after class without any advice.so our spoken english have so little improvment.
in a word ,i think our attention should be reversed to the improvement of spoken english,but
not higt scores. teachers should creat more chances to let us practise,for example,teachers
can organise debates or some intersting games. the goal of learning is to use.we should always remenber that the goal of learning is to use.
